Valletta, Malta witnessed this weekend an important coordination meeting where the International Tourism & Investment Conference (ITIC) carved an important strategic partnership agreement in a clear understanding with the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation (MTF) and the Global Centre for Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management (GCTRCM).
The meetings were held under the patronage and chaired by H.E Marie Louise ColeiroPreca, President of Malta, honorary chair of MTF, honorary co-chair of the Global Centre for Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management and Patron of ITIC (H.E The President of Malta, will be personally launching the ITIC conference in London on Friday 02 November 2018 November). Present were Dr.Taleb Rifai member of the board of all three initiatives, Honourable Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism of Jamaica and co-chair of GCTRCM, Mr Ibrahim Ayoub, CEO of Daiichi and Organiser of ITIC and Andrew Muscat, Secretary-General of MTF.
Under the capable leadership of H.E The President, the discussions focused on synergies and ways which all three initiatives support and compliment the work of one to another. As an example of such complementarities, it was agreed that ITIC would help and act, in addition to its main task of convening the annual investment conference, as the conference and meeting organizer for GCTRCM and support the organization and convening of the annual forum of MTF.
The synergy and the positive spirt prevailing in the meeting will no doubt reflect positively not only on each of the three initiatives, but also on what is in common, TOURISM, PEACE and SUSTAINABILITY.
ITIC would like to reiterate its commitment to all partnerships that would enhance and strengthen the role of Tourism in helping the people of the world and in making the world a better place.
